McLaughlin Pump Station

This project was completed for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in South Dakota. Meyer teams performed the earthwork, underground utilities, concrete structures work. The project required process piping and pumps to be installed for the building as well as the technical aspect of the SCADA systems, which interact directly with all components of the pump station.

There were also many subcontracted items requiring coordination of crews on site throughout the project, including the electrical and mechanical and installation of a new building.

This project experienced the challenges of ordering and delivery to the remote location in South Dakota, as well as harsh climate conditions from the blowing wind.
