Safety First

Meyer Contracting embodies a “Safety First” philosophy. The safety of our employees, subcontractors, clients and the general public is our number one priority while planning and executing work. This requires proactive planning safety into every stage of a project to minimize risk and liability. Our team approach to safety emphasizes the employee’s ability and responsibility to eliminate hazards and control exposure to risks. Our annual Safety Training consists of three days of intense safety programs mandatory for all personnel. Meyer Contracting believes we must excel in culture and the results will follow.

Commitment

All levels of the organization from the CEO to the craftsman are committed to ensuring a safe environment for fellow employees and the protection of public and private property adjacent to our work. This emphasis starts with project estimating and work planning where approaches to the work can be developed that eliminate hazards and continues to the field level where exposures are properly managed. At each phase in the process, safety is the first and primary consideration. Meyer strives to be an industry leader in safety.
