Oxbow Hickson Bakke, Ring Levee

Meyer Contracting Inc. was contracted by the Metro Flood Diversion Authority for the General, Mechanical and Electrical Work for the construction of the OHB Ring Levee, Phases C and D, Package 43CD (WP-43CD) in Fargo, ND.

General Construction: Work includes general coordination of the 3 contractors, all civil site, process mechanical (including stormwater pumps and motors), structural, and architectural components.

Electrical Construction: Work includes electrical and instrumentation, sensors and controls (I&C) for four 80‐hp pumps, one variable frequency drive (VFD), switchgear, and motor control center, automatic transfer switch, panel, gas-detection system, 500 kW outdoor diesel generator, transformer, interior and exterior lighting, conduits, conductors, control wiring, communication components, connections and other associated electrical components.

Mechanical Construction: Work includes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)systems, electric unit heaters, HVAC piping, air handling, venting, ducting, motorized damper, louvres, and explosion-proof components.
