This project for the multi-use pedestrian trail included improvements to the existing bike trail as well as creation of a new picnic area. Drainage improvements were the focus of this project so the trail system does not become overwhelmed with water in the rainy months. The improvements here were necessary due to regular flooding from nearby wetland overflow and included measures to address this issue.
Since completion, bikers, roller-bladers, walkers, and more can enjoy the newly paved trail in this area without the threat of wet feet!
