Historic North Loop Minneapolis Reconstruction

This project consisted of a complete reconstruction of several roads around the North Loop neighborhood including underground utility replacement of sanitary sewer, water and storm systems along with complete rebuilding and redesign of all sidewalks and roadways.

A unique aspect of this project was the removal, salvage and reuse of the original brick paver roadways in some of these areas. Updating the street system as well as restoring and reusing some of its historical material was a key aspect to the project. Team Meyer utilized our experienced earthwork and utility crews as well as our top-notch project management team to manage this ever-changing operation.

Meyer Contracting was awarded the American Public Works Association Project of the Year Award for this historic reconstruction!
